Oven Test (TS ISO 12091)
An experiment used to determine the homogeneity of the effects of a fired heating on the irregular walls of profiled thermoplastic pipes. This method is not used to ensure that the outer surfaces of the tubes are properly tested.
A pipe part of a predetermined length is heated to a certain temperature and a certain temperature. After the heating process the pipe surfaces are checked. Every physical defect, such as cracks, bubbles, or cracks, is noted. Cracks and bubbles are expressed as a percentage of the wall thickness. Wall separation is expressed as a percentage of the pipe periphery.
